Fedde ten Berge is an Amsterdam-based sonic artist who understands sound art as an interdisciplinary art form, one in which sound is focal but which seeks interactions with other artistic disciplines. Fedde is artistic coordinator at the STEIM research centre in Amsterdam and teaches electronic instrument design, sensor processing and programming at the local conservatory. At NEXT, he will appear with a performance for his self-designed Pentacle 15.3 Surround Sound System, which he built together with Jesse Meijer.
